French Work Permit and

Work Permit / Autorisation de Travail

  • ​​​Is a Permit given to foreign employees in order to work legally in France

  • This is applicable to those who are based outside France (or even those who are already in France but not yet legal to work in France and have a Visa/TRC in Poland etc)

  • Processing Times: 3 to 8 weeks

  • Not applicable to undocumented immigrant    

Long-Stay Visa

  • ​​​​This visa will allow the Employee to enter and live legally in France.

  • This should be obtained after the Work Permit has been approved.

  • This visa has to be validated at OFII and Employee pays €200

  • Only applies to those citizens and who are not Residents of European Union (Filipinos, Americans etc.)

  • Upon renewal of this Visa, the employee will have a Residence Permit up to 4 years (renewable) to be obtained at the Préfecture.
